These rules are published in the official WhatsApp group of the community. By being a member of this
group, you automatically confirm that you have read and agreed to these rules.
1. Respect for Each Other
Our community is created as a safe and comfortable space for communication, mutual support, and
assistance.
We welcome:
- polite communication;
- respect for personal boundaries;
- friendliness;
- openness to different cultures and views.
The following are not allowed:
- insults;
- aggression;
- humiliation of participants;
- toxic behavior;
- provocations and conflicts.
2. No Politics or Hostility
The following are prohibited within the community:
- political disputes;
- inciting conflicts;
- national, religious, or any other form of discrimination;
- discussions that create a tense atmosphere.
We unite people from different countries and backgrounds, therefore we strive to maintain a neutral and
respectful environment.
3. Advertising and Commercial Announcements
Advertising is allowed only in the established format or in designated places/topics.
The following are prohibited:
- spam;
- aggressive sales;
- mass private messaging to participants without consent;
- promotion of questionable services or money-making schemes.
The administration reserves the right to remove advertising posts without prior notice.
4. Useful and Relevant Communication
Please try to publish messages that may be useful or interesting to community members.
The following are welcome:
- recommendations;
- helping newcomers;
- information about life in Gazipaşa;
- events and activities;
- sharing experiences;
- joint initiatives.
5. Privacy and Respect for Personal Information
- Do not publish personal information of other participants without their consent.
- General photo and video coverage (non-close-up shots) during meetings and events is allowed without individual consent. Please inform the organizers in advance if you do not wish to be photographed or published on social media.
- Respect people’s right to privacy.
6. Communication in Community Chats and Social Media
The following are prohibited in community chats and social media:
- flooding and meaningless messages;
- offensive memes or content;
- spreading false information;
- posting shocking content;
- excessive consecutive messaging;
- discussions about politics and religion.
7. Communication Language
The main language of the community is English.
Communication in Turkish is also welcome.
8. Event Organization
At meetings and events:
- respect participants and organizers;
- follow agreements and arrangements;
- notify in advance if you cannot attend;
- treat event venues with care.
9. Community Administration
The administration reserves the right to:
- remove messages that violate the rules;
- restrict access for participants who repeatedly violate the rules;
- update and adjust the rules as the community develops.
10. Penalties for Rule Violations
First violation:
- 1-week ban from community chats;
- restriction from attending the nearest meetings and events.
Second and further violations:
- permanent removal from the community.
The association under which this community was created is chaired by a practicing lawyer. Therefore, all
serious violations may be handled within the legal framework with their participation.
