Over this beach, planes descend directly overhead as they approach Gazipasa Airport for landing. The spectacle is impressive — especially for children. You need to stand at the right spot to catch a plane flying right above you.
Kahyalar Beach is a nesting site for loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) and green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and is a protected natural area.
