This Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 PM, I invite everyone to meet at Bıdı Bıdı Beach Café to discuss our July eco plans. July is the month of the global Plastic Free July movement: https://www.plasticfreejuly.org/pledge/ You can make your own personal pledge or join our community pledge. After seeing how many plastic bags and plastic pieces are washing up on our beaches, we decided to focus on one simple challenge: ♻️ July without plastic bags. Our goal is to use reusable shopping bags instead. I’m personally joining this challenge too, and in July I will also organize a crochet workshop to teach how to make your own reusable market bag 🧶 At the meeting we’ll discuss ideas, events, and plan our July community calendar together.
